If you’re looking to add some festive animals to your front garden, here’s a cleverly designed project to make a reindeer.
It took about 2 weeks for Shrinkdifferent to perfect the design. They first made miniature versions using a 3D printer, to test the connections, before making the reindeer out of wood.
The pieces slot together like a puzzle, with no need to use glue. This means it’s also easy to disassemble and can be stored flat, ready for next year.
Instructions to make the reindeer are available at www.instructables.com/id/Plywood-Reindeer/
If you’d like to make a miniature version, the 3D printable plans are available here and there’s also a design for a mini sleigh.
