Laser-cut globe

There are loads of different ways you can laser cut plywood to make it flexible; deelstradesigns has used two in the same model to create a contrast between land and sea in this globe design.

It’s made from 3 mm poplar and 6 mm Baltic birch plywood, and the design is all the maker’s own work, using Inkscape, LightBurn, and mapping software called QGIS.
