Raspberry Pi Press is making a new magazine for makers called HackSpace and you can get your first copy for free.
HackSpace is for people who love to make things and want to learn. Billed as: "The new magazine for the modern maker," each issue of HackSpace promises features and tutorials for makers of all abilities. More information can be found on the new HackSpace website.
Sign up for the first issue, and you'll get the first magazine for free. If you're outside of the UK you will have to pay for postage and packing.
The new magazine for makers: HackSpace
We think HackSpace is an incredibly exciting new magazine for makers. According to the HackSpace website;
HackSpace is packed with projects for fixers and tinkerers of all abilities. We’ll teach you new techniques and give you refreshers on familiar ones, from 3D printing, laser cutting, and woodworking to electronics and Internet of Things. HackSpace will inspire you to dream bigger and build better.
Raspberry Pi Press' Head of Publishing, Russell Barnes explains:
Each month, HackSpace will feature tutorials and projects to help you build and learn. Whether you’re into 3D printing, woodworking, or weird and wonderful IoT projects, HackSpace will help you get more out of hardware hacking by giving you the ideas and skills to take your builds to the next level.
Free PDF of HackSpace every month
As with The MagPi, there'll be a free PDF download for each issue. HackSpace will also be sold as a print edition. And that's what you'll be getting free if you sign up. If you run a hackspace they'll even send you a whole box of magazines to hand out.
Subscriptions start at just £4.00 a month for a rolling subscription and even less than that if you’re already a subscriber to The MagPi magazine.
HackSpace will be available from selected newsagents in the UK from 23 November onward, and in the USA and Australia a few weeks later.
Russell runs Raspberry Pi Press, which includes The MagPi, Hello World, HackSpace magazine, and book projects. He’s a massive sci-fi bore.
